We are dedicated to mobilizing women to engage in the political process and run for office at every level of government.
- Goals
- Participate in the selection and development of strong local, county, and state Democratic Party strategists, leaders, and candidates — especially women — to win at all levels of government.
- Help formulate a winning Democratic agenda for Ohio.
- Advocate for and promote Democratic positions, issues, and values by forming coalitions with other local, state, and national organizations.

- The Role of the Steering Committee Member:
- Along with other Steering Committee members, work towards furthering the goals and aspirations of the CDWC;
- Attend monthly meetings, which are generally held on Sundays at 9:30 am. Most are held via Zoom, and some are in-person;
- Attend CDWC-sponsored events throughout the year. This includes CDWC programming, the annual brunch, candidate events, etc.;
- Sign up to help on a CDWC initiative or program, or plan an event of your own with Steering Committee approval.
- Note: A paid CDWC membership is required for serving on the Steering Committee. Annual dues are $40.
